6 april 2025. The big day in Flanders. For me, and for so many other Flemish people, this is not just any cycling race. The Oude Kwaremont, Paterberg, or Koppenberg… these are not just hills, they are pilgrimage sites for cycling fans. The riders’ legs are burning, the crowd is cheering them on, and you feel every breakaway as if you were in the race yourself.
